Anacore has a long-standing commitment to the Indianapolis community and has focused on innovative organizations and programs. This focus has resulted in Anacore being a founding partner of Giving Sum. Launched in 2008, Giving Sum has granted out over $150,000 and volunteered over 5,000 hours to the community.
As part of the partnership, Anacore has built a custom online grant application system for Giving Sum. The online system allows prospective grant recipients the opportunity to easily submit their applications, have Giving Sum members review them online and vote for the organization they feel is most worthy of receiving the annual grant.
In addition to the online grant system, Anacore built the member-centric website www.givingsum.org. The site features a members-only portal designed to allow members to communicate with one another, post volunteer opportunities, register for events and easily manage their own content.
Other in-kind technology provided to Giving Sum includes interactive displays for meetings and an interactive silent auction system that was featured at their annual Celebration.
Anacore continues to provide on average $10,000 annually in in-kind services and be a technology consultant for the organization.
